Degreaser

The degreaser for electrophoresis mainly removes oil stains in the following ways:
Saponification: For saponifiable oils (such as animal and vegetable oils), the alkaline components in the degreaser react with the oils to produce soap and glycerin that are soluble in water, thereby removing the oils.
Emulsification: For non-saponifiable oils (such as mineral oils), the surfactants in the degreaser can emulsify the oils, forming tiny oil droplets dispersed in water, so that they can be washed away.
Dissolution: The solvent components in some degreasers can dissolve the oils and remove them from the surface of the workpiece.
